Purpose

Radiant Life College of Ministry provides students with a process to submit complaints, concerns, academic appeals, or administrative appeals in a fair and orderly manner.

Informal Resolution

Students are encouraged to first attempt to resolve concerns informally by communicating with the appropriate instructor, advisor, staff member, or administrator.

Formal Complaint Procedure

If the concern is not resolved informally, the student may submit a written complaint. The written complaint should include:

• Student full name
• Contact information
• Description of the concern
• Relevant dates
• Names of individuals involved, if applicable
• Supporting documentation, if available
• Requested resolution

Academic Appeals

Students may submit an academic appeal regarding grades, academic standing, attendance decisions, course completion, dismissal, or other academic actions.

Academic appeals must be submitted in writing and should include the reason for the appeal and any supporting documentation.

Review Process

Complaints and appeals will be reviewed by appropriate institutional personnel. The College will make reasonable efforts to respond within a reasonable timeframe after receiving the written complaint or appeal.

Non-Retaliation

Students may submit complaints or appeals without fear of retaliation. Retaliation against a student for filing a good-faith complaint or appeal is prohibited.

Final Institutional Decision

After review, the institution may issue a written decision. The decision may uphold, modify, or reverse the original action or provide another appropriate resolution.
